Trenches PVE connection guide
Connecting to Trenches PVE is an easy process, before you begin you need to ensure you have Arma 2 and Arma 2 Operation Arrowhead installed (screenshot shows a Steam install).
Don't forget to run Arma 2 from Steam until you reach the main menu and then close it. Do the same for Operation Arrowhead.
You will also need either Dayz Launcher or Dayz Commander.
Using either of these clients download and install Dayz (this can also be installed from the main Dayz site but this method is easier and requires less sorting of files).
Next install Dayz Epoch using either Launcher or Commander.
If you are using Launcher it will look like this:
Now find Trenches PVE on your preferred launcher by either searching for Trenches PVE or 212.129.54.150:2302 (Commander may not find the server via an IP search).
On Launcher is will look like this:
Start the game through Launcher or Commander and it should do the rest for you. You should be met with the Dayz splash screen if everything is installed correctly.
If you get any issues try some common fixes:
-Verify your Arma 2 install and run the game, do the same with Opperation Arrowhead.
-Verify your Dayz and Dayz Epoch installs using your launcher(s)
-Check your file names inside your Steam Operation Arrowhead folder, the default path for this should be: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Arma 2 Operation Arrowhead once in the directory look for the following:
Ensure that your folders for Dayz are named as shown.
Finally consider copying the Addons folder from Arma 2 into the Operation Arrowhead directory, its not necessary to have it in both folders but its often a tip for fixing common issues.
Hope this helps guys and if you have any questions feel free to ask them in our support section or send myself or another member of staff a PM.
Kind regards,
Sickle.
